The challenge

Build a set of application for Flare Network

The first application required a seamless interface to perform mint and redeem operations, allowing users to interact with blockchain assets efficiently.
The second application needed to provide an interface for setting up an agent on the Flare Network. These agents play a crucial role in the decentralized infrastructure by managing the collateral required for minting.
The primary challenge was to ensure that both applications could support multiple cryptocurrencies and offer a secure and intuitive experience for users interacting with the Flare Network.

The solution

Developing applications for Flare minting and agent management

To meet the requirements, we developed the applications using Next.js, tailored for their respective functionalities on the Flare Network.

The first application focuses on minting and redeeming operations. It integrates wallet support for MetaMask, Ledger devices, and Bifrost Wallet, allowing users to securely authenticate and interact with the blockchain. This app also supports transactions in Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Ripple. We used web3.js and ethers.js libraries to enable smooth communication with the smart contracts on the Flare Network. Real-time transaction status updates were integrated through event listeners, ensuring users receive clear feedback on their operations. The component-based architecture of Next.js made the application highly maintainable and scalable for future updates and improvements.

The second application is dedicated to setting up and managing agents within the Flare Network. It provides an intuitive interface for users to manage agent collateral and other settings within the Flare Network’s infrastructure. The backend is designed to communicate directly with Flare’s protocols, streamlining agent setup and management.
